A quick note about the Virginia Tech killings

I mentioned to several people, and have heard from several people, the idea that would some of the students have rushed the gunman it could have saved numerous lives, instead of sitting down 'execution style'. This goes back to the concept of, "Never Again" which is spoken about after the Holocaust. My hope is, just like after 9/11, people will react and neutralize any threat to their plane, now students will understand that they can't just sit back and wait to be killed, Heroic action is required. Eventually the killers will get the message that its just not worth it...

ps Two after thoughts: This assumes that suicide bombings never takes hold in the West and that the media stops the hype of making these murderers into martyrs by having their photo everywhere you look for days!
